Recognising the efforts of the housing cooperatives towards access to secure land tenure. Civic Forum on Housing and Habitat Zambia using the human rights based approach trained over 30 members of Kabanana Housing Cooperative on land rights, alternative building methods, climate change resilience and economic empowerment. Today the Women have managed to save, buy and secure land and are now organising themselves to have electricity poles mountd and start building their housing units. We look forward to the women actualising their dream to be home owners.
